Why do most diets seem to want you to avoid caffeine?

Answered By Editor

Though caffeine is a stimulant, it may nullify the effects of many foods and medicines. Further caffeine is not an essential nurient needed by our system and could be addictive.

Caffeine causes cellulite to accumulate in the body. It also causes one to get headaches, become fatigued, irritable, depressed, and leads to poor concentration. Caffeine makes one jittery and prevents them from sleeping well, an essential part of a diet plan. And, just as sugar gives you a spike of energy for a short while, you then have a down and become very tired. Caffeine can effect your nervous system. And, although it can cause you to lose your appetite, it can also interfere with your appetite for the right kinds of foods in your diet.
