You might be skeptical of if that last sentence is true, but I promise you that it is true. She really did lose that much.
Starvation, exercise, diet pills? You might be thinking? None of these things. I explained to her that the reason she had gained so much weight was because she was simply eating the wrong foods on a regular basis.
You see, I have been studying health for a long time now, and I have found that many health problems, including being overweight, is caused from eating the improper diet.
If you want to lose weight fast, and as easy as possible, then start out by following these weight loss tips I will be presenting. You will start to not only lose weight, but you will also feel better in your overall health as well.
In this series of articles you will learn how you can change your diet, so that the fat on your body will easily come off without strenuous exercise, and it is possible to lose most of the excess fat on your body without any exercise what so ever.
It’s not that exercise is not good for you, it’s just that it is not a requirement to lose weight. However, if you did incorporate a little physical activity into your week, you will have even quicker results.
If you are heavily overweight, I recommend losing the majority of your excess fat first, because exercise is slightly damaging, so you need to be on the proper diet that will put you into healing mode, before you start an exercise program.
You can really wear yourself out quick if you go about an exercise program in the wrong way.
I will reveal to you the way that I helped my friend to lose 80 pounds of weight. (She lost the first 60 pounds in 20 weeks.)
If she can do it, then you can do it. If you follow the same steps as she did, then you should see similar results. Just about anything that anyone else has ever done, you can do the same thing, if you follow the steps as they did.
Learn from other people’s mistakes, and don’t try and reinvent the wheel. (Unless you have a lot of extra time on your hands.)
Some of the things that I will be gong over in this article series that you will need to do to lose weight without exercise are:
Alkalize your body by eating more alkaline forming foods, and cutting back on foods that make you acidic.
Cut down or eliminate refined foods, and other foods that clog you down.
Start combining your foods into digestively compatible food combinations.
Get natural sunlight on your skin periodically.
Hydrate your body with pure water.
Detoxify your body and fat cells.
Oxygenate your body with deep breathing, or light exercise.
Eat more fiber from good sources like raw carrots, lettuces, and other neutral vegetables. (Note: not all fiber is not created equal)
Include healthier types of oils like extra virgin olive oil into your diet.
Gradually shrink you stomach.
Keep a detailed food journal. Notice the way that what you eat affects your health, weight, and moods.
Realize the difference between true hunger, if you are just thirsty, if you are just bored and are eating for entertainment purposes, or eating just because someone wants you to (peer pressure) at a social gathering.
Don’t be overwhelmed at the list above, as it is not as big of a list as it seems like at first, and I will go into detail about how to go about each step.
The steps are not meant to be done in order, but to gradually do all of them at the same time, but at your own pace.
If you want to achieve your results as fast as possible, You will want to spend as much time as you can learning how to, and implementing the steps I have outlined above. Just like anything in life, you have to develop a deep desire to accomplish your goals.
Don’t focus on the things you will have to go through to reach your goal, focus more on the benefits you will enjoy once you are successful. Your life is what you focus on.
So look for the rest of my articles where I will go into detail about each of the steps above.

Weight loss is recognized as the physical fitness program. During this process, the toxins in your body are discharged. Today, I am going to discuss some distinctive types of weight loss which are as follow:
Unintentional weight loss
During the unintentional weight loss, the total calories and fats of your body are removed in such a way that causes a chronic disease or injury. Various types of diseases could be occurred due to unintentional weight loss. These are insufficiency of insulin, throbbing metabolism, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, anxiety, depression, and constant fatigue, etc. The unintentional weight loss is common among elderly people who only live at their homes. Such weight loss among aged people could cause an abrupt death. Being an elderly person, you should take care of yourself and try to keep away from all types of harmful influences of unintentional weight loss.
Intentional weight loss
The intentional weight loss diminishes the total body fats in such a better way that your health conditions become increasingly sufficient. The most productive influence of intended weight loss is that it enhances the health conditions and reduces the symptoms of precarious diseases, such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, stroke, osteoarthritis, depression and anxiety, etc. The intentional weight loss is an assured health program. It makes you smart, muscular and dazzling within a short span of time through the aerobics.
Therapeutic weight loss
It is a surgical treatment for weight loss. It is conducted under the supervision and presence of medical surgeons. During the process of therapeutic weight loss, the patient is advised to start physical activity, dieting, and drinking hygienic water. Therapeutic weight loss is usually conducted in order to enhance the physical activity. The methods of diet pills, food supplements and fasting are frequently adopted during the therapeutic weight loss. The pills like Fucus-Vesiculosu are regularly used in order to loose weight. The surgery can be taken place in most chronic cases.. Consequently, the Bariatric Surgery (BS) is often conducted for fastest weight loss. This surgery diminishes the size of your tummy and eradicates the feelings of appetite.
Crash dieting
The crash diet plan is typically adopted by most of obese people. During the crash dieting course you have to be in complete fasting situation at least for 10 hours. The crash dieting plan is not considered as balanced as irregular fasting.
Mechanized weight loss
It is a built-up weight loss program.. During this process, the people have an inclination to go into industrial markets. These often include CDs, books, diet pills, lotions, rings, body belts, and other products. These days, the mechanized weight loss plan has been widely used by most of European countries, such as UK, US, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Italy, and France, etc.
Concluding remarks
In a few words, we can say that weight loss has its universal importance. The people adopt various ways in order to loose their weights. These are intended weight loss, unintentional weight loss, crash diet, mechanized weight loss and therapeutic weight loss.

Will Cutting Carbs Help Me Lose Weight Quickly

What are Carbohydrates(carbs)
Most people know that carbs are particular types of foods. But there are two types of carbs:
1. Simple carbs: Examples of these types of carbs are, sugar, white bread, potatoes, yams, sweets, noodles, pasta, rice, flour to name a few.
These types of carbs are fast acting carbs. What i mean by this is that when eaten they elevate your blood sugar levels quickly but also lower your blood sugar levels quickly thus making you tired and hungry after a short perion after eating them. When your blood sugar levels rise and fall rapidly you store fat quickly. So will cuting carbs help me lose weight quickly? At this point what is your answer? Still don’t know? Well read on.
I said earlier that there are two types of carbs. The second type is called complex carbs.
2. Complex carbs: Examples are brown bread, all types of vegetables, all types of fruits etc.
When these types of carbs are consumed they raise the blood sugar levels slowly and keep the sugar levels high for a long period thus allowing fat to be burned for longer. Also you will feel more energetic for longer because of the sustained high blood sugar and less hungry.
So will cutting carbs help me lose weight quickly? Still don’t know? Well read on.
You have seen the two types of carbs in action, so you may be thinking that reducing any type of carbs will answer your question, “will cutting carbs help me lose weight quickly”.
The answer to your question is this. Your body needs carbs but of the right quality. Complex carbs are found in foods that are rich in nutrients, vitamins and fiber. They use more metabolic energy in digestion. They reverse the internal aging process and strengthen the immune system. Since they are slow acting and more fat burning in nature the will help you lose weight quickly. So the answer to the question “will cutting carbs help me lose weight quickly” is yes but it has to be less of the wrong type(simple carbs) and more of the right type(complex carbs)
So you can see that cutting carbs will help you lose weight quickly, but its the simple carbs you have to cut down. So will cutting carbs help me lose weight quickly? You answer that question now.

Authentic Weight Loss Program Of The Biggest Loser

But, from a weight loss standpoint, Im not impressed. The goal of the show is to lose weight as fast as possible. In order to do this, the contestants engage in a very extreme weight loss program that is designed to cause rapid reductions in bodyweight. Rapid weight loss is great, right? Not so fast! This is not necessarily the case. Heres why:
First of all, weight loss is not the same as fat loss. More often then not, the weight these people lose is composed of lean muscle tissue, water weight, and some body fat. Unfortunately, it turns out that losing muscle actually causes your metabolism to slow significantly, which makes losing body fat even more difficult than it was before. So losing any muscle at all is really not desirable if you intend to maintain your fat loss results on a permanent basis.
I’ve found that when people lose weight quickly they have a significantly greater chance of the dreaded weight regain. Since weight loss and fat loss are two different things it’s important to realize that rapid weight loss is not always ideal. Of course we all want to lose fat quickly but remember that it must be done correctly, scientifically and carefully or be prepared to gain the weight back.
When you have a weight loss program which is performed properly you will be able to lose fat quickly, not just weight, by keeping your lean muscle mass. Lean muscle mass is crucial to long term fat loss because it keeps your metabolic rate high. I want to see you change your body forever and not just for a short term period so don’t think so much “quantity” or weight but quality of weight by losing fat.
In order to be a long term maintainer I suggest taking a look at what people are doing who have truly achieved “real” fat loss. Here is the big difference between long term maintainers and big losers:
First off every long term maintainer has a solid workout program which always includes both cardio and resistance training. The goal for most of these people is at least 30 minutes of exercise almost every day.
As far as diet is concerned a “big loser” and a maintainer’s habits will vary greatly. Big losers usually follow the fad diets and perform limited exercise or simply perform aerobic work with no resistance training. Also, the self-monitoring methods used by big losers and maintainers differ as well such as measuring bodyweight and body fat percentages and also measuring calories.
Self-monitoring is probably the most criticized and avoided weight loss technique especially when it comes to calorie counting and measuring food. Some fitness experts even claim this to be an inconvenient method of weight loss because it seems too restrictive. I believe this to be one of the most beneficial weight loss methods and can make a huge difference between getting fat and losing fat.
4 Strategies To Ensure Fat Loss Success!
1. Become more active everyday! Daily exercise is crucial for weight maintenance and weight loss.
2. Include resistance training as part of your regular exercise program, during your fat loss phase, and even more importantly, during maintenance.
3. Closely monitor your portion sizes and calories. To start off do exact measurements even though that may be a little time consuming then afterwards just eyeball the quantities.
4. Focus on losing fat and not just weight! Measuring your body fat percentage is the best way to ensure that your weight loss is actually coming from fat and not lean muscle.
Follow my 4 fat loss strategies and you too will stop being a big loser and become a long term fat loss maintainer!

How Can Permanent Weight Loss be Achieved?
January 5, 2010 by Weight Loss Diets and Exercise Tips
Filed under About Weight Loss
So whose responsibility is this far this lack of permanent weight loss; is it the person doing the diet or the diet plan that is being followed itself?
To answer this question fully; involves firstly looking at the psychology of many dieters, as well as the choice of diets available out there.
Most people think weight loss programs have to be complicated to fit in with age, sex and body type. As I am about to reveal many weight loss programs on the face of it look complicated, however this unnecessary complication is mainly to differentiate it from the competition. It can be very confusing to know which diet plan to follow with so much choice out in the marketplace.
Many weight loss programs out there make themselves different from the competition, by using different daily calorie ratios for the 3 main nutrients found in food. The three main nutrients are proteins, fats and carbohydrates. So for example, what you can have is high, medium, low and zero daily calories of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. There is so many different combinations you can with these 3 main nutrients use to make a weight loss plan. There is little wonder that there is so much competition out there with a vast number of different weight loss plans.
So why do so many diets fail people and why isn’t there one diet out there that has proven to consistently achieve permanent weight loss.
The real answer is to turn the first question around; instead it should read why do so many people fail in their dieting. This leads to answering the second question; there isn’t a diet that guarantees permanent weight loss, because it depends very much on the individual who is carrying out the diet.
So instead of recommending which diet you should follow, you need to understand why people fail diets in the long term, this can lead to stopping the cycle of putting weight back on when lost, thus achieving permanent weight loss.
Generally almost all diets work by using the different combinations of fats, proteins and carbohydrates for your daily calorie intake. In the short term by burning up more calories than you intake you will lose weight.
Recent studies back this up; when the popular commercial diets were compared against other over a 6-12 month period, they mostly showed similar weight loss results. One major study concluded that the person adhering to the diet, rather than the diet itself was the main indicator of whether the weight loss program would work or not.
So what this shows clearly that, the most likely way to succeed in achieving permanent weight loss depends on how well you adhere to a weight loss plan in the long term. So how can this be achieved?
A solution to achieving permanent weight loss lies in looking at making lifestyle changes; developing new positive habits that involve following weight loss programs in the long term. The simply fact changes like this simply do not happen overnight and take weeks, sometimes months to become an integrated part of a persons life.
The sad fact is most people there are looking for a magic wand to end their weight loss problems. Many turn to drugs and surgery for an immediate result. Unfortunately drug use and surgery can have side effects or unknown long term consequences.
So the safer and more effective way to permanent weight loss is to reduce your calories and do your diet program for the long term. By developing these habits over weeks, months and years you ensure that weight loss will become permanent for you.
