Can you answer admarie05’s question about Weight Loss?:
I am trying to reduce inches off of my belly and sides, and I need to know what are the most effective exercise methods and diets that work. I’m not trying to loose weight, Im just trying to tone my midsection. If anyone knows of anyways that have PERSONALLY worked, then it would be most helpful. Thanks!

Weight Loss Feedback: jumping jacks work the best in my opinion, pilates may also be a good way to go
Weight Loss Feedback: I heard that a diet high in calcium helps in shedding fat. There was a re-run with Dr. Oz on Oprah yesterday that proved this in a study. Good luck!
Weight Loss Feedback: Hey you should really try Billy Blanks~ taebo Amped. It really does work. I use it an I have great results. I could even feel it with in the first work out. It was really good an it makes you feel good too. Good luck.
Weight Loss Feedback: crunches wok for my brother.
Weight Loss Feedback: crunches really help they tone your mid section but you wont be able to see your abs unless u do cardio which is like running, jumping jacks, walking etc. just eat well and exercise doing crunches on a yoga ball works even better! good luck!!!?
Weight Loss Feedback: Get lots of cardio… that’s what burns fat and calories better than anything. My personal favorites are cardio kickboxing (something like tae bo) and running around with my two very engergetic puppies. Pilates is also good. My advice for that would be to try to find classes at a local community college… they’re usually cheaper than a gym membership, and there’s less pressure.
Oh, and a common misconception… you don’t burn fat in a specific area! It’s all or nothing. What targeted exercises do is tighten and tone the muscle under the fat. All the crunches in the world COULD give you a great six pack, but the fat over the top would still be there.
Thus why cardio is important. Something like kickboxing, as I suggested, often incorporates the toning while keeping the heartrate up, so I prefer doing that 4 days a week for an hour, rather than 20 minutes of jogging every day… it’s so boring!
As far as diet, you just can’t be naughty!
NO fast food EVER. Plan ahead instead and bring lunch with you.
For the rest of my personal dieting advice (this is all stuff I actually do)…
