Diet pills?

Can you answer psegnini_01’s question about Weight Loss?:

I’ve been thinking about buying diet pills but I’m afraid because I’ve heard that they can mess up your metabolism and that once you stop taking them you gain all the weight back. Do they really help you lose fat? I don’t need to loose that much weight (10 pounds) but it seems impossible to keep it off unless I go to the gym every day and follow a VERY strict diet

Weight Loss Feedback: I would never suggest using diet pills. One of the easiest ways to lose a little weight is to cut out things from you diet like sodas or candy.

Weight Loss Feedback: DONT DO IT!

1- I used to take xenadrine 8 years ago (when i was a senior in highschool) this was when ephedra was still legal. it worked. BUT it gave me ths jitters, made me sweat more than usual, i could HEAR my heart beating sometimes and if i forgot to take it i would be DRAGGING myself everywhere bc i had NO energy without it. it was so easy–i’d eat horribly fatty foods in excess and was a size 0. then when i decided i didnt need it anymore–i gained about 10 lbs almost immediately. after gaining the weight, i took it again AND started working out. I stopped taking it when i got to the weight i liked and just continued workign out to maintain my weight. this worked well.

2- during exams in college i gained some weight. by this time ephedra was outlawed (as it remains) and i decided to get some again. without the ephedra it just doesnt work. it makes you sick to your stomach and its AWEFUL!! just aweful. so basically no “diet pills” you can take now will actually work. they will just make you feel terrible. so dont waste your money.

3- when i tried taking the pills again and realized they werent working, i began working out regularly and have done so for the past 7 years. it’s become a habit and the weight actually stays off. it is WELL worth your time to just hit the gym 3 times a week. especially focusing on building your leg muscles–(thats my little trick: working your legs, your biggest muscle, makes you burn more calories bc afterall, the more muscle you have, the more calories yo uburn. so even if i take a week or 2 off from working out, i wont put on as much weight as if i didnt have any muscle tone)– you can easily gain leg muscle without doing special leg weight training by doing the stair climber, elliptical, or bike–cardio and muscle mass at the same time! :)

    hope all this blabbering helps!
